CGI Animation - FIXR

The first test clip of my 'one man movie project' where I will write the story, compose and perform the orchestral score, create the 3D character models and environments, paint the textures and animate the movie.

Tools used so far:

Procreate App for iPad
Wacom stylus to paint the materials
Photoshop to refine materials and create Normal Maps
3DSMax for environment and model design
3DSMax for animation
Music Studio App for iPad for Musical score

An excerpt from the story:

"An automated repair station, but it has not always been so…
With a full contingent of repair bots, at one point RS4 was a run by humans, now the bots have outlived their masters but continue to do their work.
The station is run by B055 (Boss), once assistant to the chief engineer, he doesn't miss the humans at all and has taken it upon himself to commands the other bots, however the repair bots don’t always do as they are told and often get up to mischief.

FIXR (Fixer), an eccentric repair bot who has an amazing ability to fix up old vehicles and crafts (at times with flare…), is one of many hard working bots at RS4. Even though FIXR’s master has long passed away, he returns to his ‘home’ at the end of every shift to recharge ready for another days work.

FIXR works closely with LDR (Loader) a load lifting companion.
Now known throughout the sector as an automated repair station, beings of all shapes and sizes visit the station for light repairs on a daily basis".
